With the river at a nice height and good numbers of fish showing it was frustrating for the day rods that none were willing to take. In the evening, though, Martin Wilson managed to tempt one, landing a good fish of 13lbs on the fly from Pitlochry bank. Temperatures look set to rise next week - hopefully it will also liven up the fishing - looks promising.
