Maybe not quite spring yet but it was a pleasant day for a
cast and with the river at a good height conditions looked good this morning. It
wasn’t long before Alan Wales hooked into a fish and after a good fight was
able to land a superb fish of 19lbs – caught on Pitlochry bank on the fly. With
settled conditions forecast for the rest of the week prospects look good.
