There was a slight rise in water overnight but not enough to make much of a difference to fishing conditions - it was to be another day where perseverance was the top tactic. As it turned out one fish was caught - Ally Gowans did well to land a fish of 7lbs on Pitlochry bank this morning - caught on the fly. Another fish was also lost in the morning. With a change of weather forecast over the next couple of days things could pick up again as we head into the weekend.
