With the river up overnight conditions didn't look too promising today - and when I dropped by just after lunchtime it was no real surprise that nothing had been caught. Martin Wilson persevered, though, and was rewarded with a superb fish of 13 lb on the fly from Port-na-Craig bank. The fish are there but are not giving themselves up easily. Looking good for next week.
