River Tummel competition dates for 2016.

River Tummel offers great trout fishing

The River Tummel between Pitlochry and Ballinluig is famous for its great trout and grayling  fly fishing and is much in demand for competitions. Clubs and others wishing to hold competitions on our waters please note that we would appreciate being informed in advance so that other anglers can be made aware of their presence.

Please also note that exclusive use of our water cannot be granted and that all anglers are required to fish in accordance with the Club's rules and with good etiquette and consideration for other users.

SANACC competition heats dates for 2016 are 24 April, 01 May, 15 May and 22 May the final competition is on 24 July.
