The river has dropped back a bit over the last week or so but fish are still passing through steadily with the odd one getting caught: Sylvian Barry landed a 4lb grilse on the spinner on Port-na-Craig bank last Saturday; and Iain McGinlay caught a fish of 4lbs on Ruan Ruarie on Wednesday. The rain forecast for the weekend could liven things up a bit - still worth a cast.
