Red Letter Day!

Catches have been reasonably good at the Dam this year but what has been missing is a big day when the fish were really "on". Today was different, however, and with eleven landed and least four lost it was an exceptional day: the man on form was Steve Watt (no surprise there) with nine fish! from six to fourteen lbs - seven in the morning from Port-na-Craig bank - four on the fly and three on the spinner - and another two in the afternoon from Pitlochry bank - both on the fly - well done!; Saul Mackay landed a superb fish of 17lbs on the fly: and in the afternoon Martin Wilson got in on the action with a 9lber on the fly from Port-na-Craig bank. Looking good as we head into the weekend - surely more to come.
