The water level dropped away nicely today but it didn't seem to encourage the fish - it was a relatively quiet day at the Dam although quite a few a few fish were seen in the beat. Ally Gowans did well, though, with a fish of about 8lb on the fly early afternoon from Port-na-Craig bank. Hopefully things will pick up again tomorrow.
