A very contrasting start to the season at the hill lochs. To be honest I am not in the least surprised as the week leading up to the opening weekend was bitterly cold with further snow showers and icy conditions. However, the brave souls who ventured out on Kinardochy were rewarded with 12 brownies, all duly returned. The boats out on Bhac, however, were not as fortunate as not one rainbow was tempted. In the last few days the temperature has risen by 8-12 degrees throughout the day so I am now certain that Bhac will start to compete.
