It's been quiet for the last week or so but there are fish to be caught for those willing to venture out: visiting angler Rene Muenger reported a superb fish of around 15lbs from Ruan Ruarie last Saturday; Brian Joseph spotted fish moving in Sawmill this morning and was rewarded with a fresh fish of around 13lbs on the Flying C (and lost another of about 8lbs just before this); and Duncan Webster lost a very nice fish of about 18lb at the bank on the dam last night. Mmm .... maybe time to dig out the rod again ...
