Some members and visitors have been seeking updates from us on the closure of Port na Craig Footbridge for refurbishment work. The current situation is that the bridge remains closed and most anglers crossing between the banks at the bank changeover at 12 noon take their cars round over Aldour Road Bridge. Any anglers crossing between the banks on foot can either use the footpath over the Pitlochry Dam or again use the Aldour Bridge. Local businesses have been advised that the bridge will now be closed until Wednesday 9 April. Work is progressing with urgency - there were at least eight people working on the bridge today.
