Only two anglers were out below the dam on Tuesday and one on Wednesday, but the beat is still fishing well and three fish were caught, all off Pitlochry bank on flying C by Brian Holmes. Two estimated at 7 lb and 14 lb were on Tuesday and the one on Wednesday was estimated at 16 lb. Another fish was lost by Brian off the Portnacraig bank on Wednesday morning.
On the members' Sawmill Beat, just below Pitlochry, Gordon Nichol reported an 8 pounder on Wednesday morning.
