Midsummer and the Club's Tummel beats continue to fish well for those anglers out on them.
On Thursday (20 June), Paul Wilson and Gavin Manclark made an early start and caught 8 lb and 12 lb fish respectively on fly (Ally’s shrimp and Cascade) on the Pitlochry bank.
Also on Thursday, Gordon Nichol reported catching a nice fresh fish of about 7 lb off the members' Sawmill Beat, again on fly.
On Friday (21 June), Duncan Judge caught a nice fish of about 8 lb in the morning off the Pitlochry bank on his own variation of the Ness C fly.
