A work party of club members organised by Club President Jimmy Ross did some vegetation trimming this morning around the seat on the Pitlochry bank on Portnacraig Pitlochry Beat and on the access paths on the members' Sawmill Beat. The work will benefit both visitors and members. Some more work is to be carried out over the next few days by other members. Jimmy passes on his thanks to all involved.

There are also reports that the Tummel is fishing well for trout at present with some good fishing during the day on dry fly and in the evening on dry and wet. We are getting some good rises in the late evening to sedges.
