An unusual catch return came in late last night when the rods fishing the Dam yesterday reported two Salmon caught to Elaine Sleight and Sabina Gladstone. Both were first ever Salmon caught and released and were given as 9lb fresh and 12lb slightly coloured, both caught on Yellow Flying C. Surely a day to be remembered for Mother and Daughter. On Sawmill in the morning Gordon Nichol had a 7lb fish. JK
