Surprise! Surprise! Where did that come from after a quiet week at the Dam beat. Maybe it was the rapid change in atmospheric pressure or the Ladder being closed down the day before. Yesterday (Friday) we had one of our better days fishing with
six salmon caught, mainly on Pitlochry bank. Catch returns were-----Saul Mackay 9lb and 13lb on fly-----Kevin Maybury 8lb and 13lb spinning------Frank Moscrop 6.5lb on fly------Iain McLaren 7.5lb on fly. About the same number were lost through the day. A great return. JK
