FIRST SPRINGER AT PITLOCHRY DAM BEAT

Today I am delighted to report the first spring fish at P.A.C. angling club beat at the dam. The honours go to Adam Joseph while fishing Pitlochry bank in the afternoon. The fishing conditions were not great with the river quite low and a cold mist in the air. The winning combination was a sink tip line coupled with a conehead Willie Gunn tube. The fish was weighed in the net at 13.5 lbs. A scale reading showed it to be a 3 sea winter springer. Well done Adam I hope its the first of many this season. JK
