With the doubts already entering my head after only 3 weeks of the season gone and no sign of a fish showing. The news of a fish lost in Sawmill mid week brought a bit of optimism. Today while visiting West Haugh & Dunfallandy HQ. I was greeted with the news of two fresh fish caught on Wednesday on their bottom pool. ( saw the photos ). This should encourage a few more rods to have a cast. Lower Tummel has still not been fished and only an odd rod at the dam beat. With a bit more angling pressure I am sure we will have more fish in the book in the coming weeks. JK

FIRST SALMON ARRIVE ON TUMMEL
