Yesterday Tummel was almost unfishable as the river rose allday from 1 inch to 4ft. Overnight rain kept the river well up this morning and still showing a fair bit of colour. Kenny Horne who I met for the first time the other evening and had just managed a couple of hours away from his keepers dutys, returned tonight and was rewarded with a fish around 10lb on (YELLOW FLYING C ). Kenny mentioned as he left he might return later-----aye the bug-----keep your eye on the Pheasants. Lets hope as the river drops and clears we have another good week on Tummel. JK
