Earlier in the week I missed a return at the dam which was of special importance as a first ever Salmon was landed by junior visitor Jacob Aubrey on fly ( Red Francis ) The fish weighed 12lb. Jacob is just 11years old and showed great skills with the double handed rod. Jacob I am sure you have a great fishing career in front of you. Your Salmon has been recorded. Over the weekend Gordon Nichol had another fish on Sawmill at 5lb. On the Garry (Ruan Ruarie ) visitor Jason Tumath had a fish around 13lb on a Devon Minnow. An increase in numbers of fish showing in the catches over the Whole system now. JK
