TUMMEL SEASON MERGES

The successful Spring Salmon season just seems to be going on right into the Summer Season as fish continue to be caught on all beats. Alate report for Saturday past was---David Russell 10lb fish on Floating Devon. Yesterdays returns--- Gordon Nichol 12lb fish ----Ronnie Murray 7lb fish---- both from Lower Tummel. There was also a return from the dam last night when Bob Erlam got his Tummel season going with a 6lb fish. Today the river has been rising , but despite that Steve Watt had a fresh fish in the afternoon on Portnacraig bank of 9lb---- Innes Smith followed up with a 12lb fish on Sawmill---- But honours again go to Gordon Nichol with a wonderful fish estimated at 22lb and covered in Sea Lice from ( Green Bank ) Lower Tummel.
