MIXED FORTUNES

Saturday produced mixed fortunes on Tummel. The dam beats did not give up a fish on the day after a good week, despite over one hundred fish running the ladder that day. The angling skills were on show on Lower Tummel where William Goodwin had another fish from (Rock Pool ) about 7lb,well done Sir! Further success went to Gordon Nichol with a fish of 7lb (Hughs Pool) on his Gordons Ally dressing. Later in the evening Paul Carter had another fish of 15lb (Green Bank ). Oh ! I managed two early doors (Rock Pool ) 6lb & 10lb, the luck still holds. Lower Tummel is one of the most scenic places I have ever fished, catch or not. JK
