There are certainly more fish about this year than last and there appears to be a good mix of age classes. The prospects for the next couple of weeks look like being very good on the River Tummel.


Today - start of another week and a great day on Tummel. Fish were caught on almost every beat of the river today. Catch returns - A Gowans - 22lb J Ross - 16lb. visitor Ronnie Murray two at 16& 18lb, all at the Dam beats. Tony Rea 16lb from Lower Tummel the first fish from that beat for PAC. A Walker had a fish at Sawmill at 10lb. Successful patterns - black & yellow & black & orange tubes- cascade & black & yellow dressed doubles were successful.
