Club members enjoyed another excellent and laid-back flytying evening at Scotlands Hotel, with another chance to see the new website demonstrated on laptops brought along by Ally Gowans and Jimmy Ross. We will continue mixing the the two activities every fortnight over the winter, so you can come along and have a blether, learn to or actually tie some flies, or learn more about using the website. Then some of the more thirsty reconvene in the bar to hear great tales of former derring-do, real or imagined. The fly shown in the image was used with great success by a visiting trout angler last summer.
