Last week 3 fish were reported. Raymond Borley had two grilse off Sawmill on Thursday at 3lbs and 4lbs and Barry Ward continued his good run with another grilse off RuanRuarie, this one at 5lbs.
This week heavy water arrived and brought up some fish from the lower river. Jim Kennedy took a 3lbs grilse on Sawmill as did Andy Walker, with one at 5lbs. Les Dargie also took a fish off Sawmill, a seatrout of a couple of pounds and Jason Gilkison took a grilse on RuanRuarie.

Fishing Pitlochry bank on Saturday, Innes Smith saw what he thought was a large coloured fish turning in the mid stream. It wasn’t, it was an otter which continued to hunt below the Suspension Bridge for quarter of an hour or so....a lovely sight.

Water height is pretty steady so there are fish to be caught albeit fresh fish will become rarer as the large coloured fish begin to dominate but little pods of fresh grilse are pushing through each day.
